UDG Tenerife Egatesa (2018-2021)

UDG Tenerife competes in the Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino, the highest level of league competition for Spanish Women's Football and one of the most important and competitive leagues at European level according to the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). Also known as Primera Iberdrola, it’s the women's equivalent of La Liga, the men's Primera División and is run by the Real Federación Español de Fútbol.
The 2021-2022 Season will be Reis' fourth season with UDG Tenerife. Aline initially signed with UDG Tenerife because they had proved in previous years how competitive they were in the league, as well as shown great ambition to keep developing as a club. As time went by, Aline fell in love with the "Canários" and the great quality of life offered by Tenerife and its people. It's a special place to be and Aline is honored to play alongside "las guerreras" of the island. Each season, Reis continues to have great ambitions for herself and for her team, with expectations of a great season, having a high level performance in goal and fighting for the Primeira Iberdrola and Copa de La Reina titles.

Professional Career
2017 - Reis played for ETO Ladies in the Hungarian top Division.
2016 - Aline left the USA and returned to Brazil to play for Ferroviária.
2013 - Reis accepted a fantastic offer to become the Head Goalkeeper Coach for the UCLA Bruins, where the mentored some of the nation most elite athletes. During her first year, Reis won the NSCAA National Championship with the Bruins. The team finished the season with a 22-1-3 record and went unbeaten over their last 21 games. They gave up just one goal during the NCAA Tournament and only eight goals all season, leading the nation in goals against average (0.296). That same year, the team won the Pac-12 title and tied the school record for most victories in a season. After four incredible seasons with the Bruins, Aline decided that it was time to invest a hundred percent in her playing career and resigned her position at UCLA.
2011 - When Aline graduated from college in December of 2011, the Women's Professional League in the USA announced suspension of the 2012 season and for this reason, unfortunately, there was no college draft. The professional league had folded. Meanwhile, Aline received an opportunity to pursue her Master's Degree while working for the UCF women's soccer team as a director of operations, so she decided to retire the gloves and boots to pursue different goals.

University of Central Florida
2007 - Reis started her first semester at UCF in August, 2007. However, she was unable to compete in the Fall of that year due to an ACL surgery that kept her out for four and half months, forcing the athlete to redshirt in order not to lose a year of eligibility. Aline was back on the pitch for the Spring of 2008 and prepared for the soccer season that would start in the coming Fall. From that moment on, she was the starting goalkeeper for all four seasons, appearing in 85 contests (83 starts) and earning 28 shutouts. Reis is the winningest goalkeeper in Knights history (48-19-12), and led UCF to back-to-back C-USA Championships in 2009 and 2010, and made the NCAA Tournament all four years of her career, including leading the Knights to the Elite Eight in 2011, knocking off North Carolina in the Sweet 16 on penalty kicks.
Reis was voted team MVP all four seasons and was C-USA Player of the Week seven times, which is a school record. She was inducted into UCF Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019. After an impressive career for the Knights, Reis was named UCF’s No. 1 player in the C-USA era and the No. 2 UCF Knights Female Athlete of All-Time, just behind the GOAT, Michelle Akers.

The significance of Aline Reis' career can be summed up in one perfect moment: Her diving save of midfielder Ranee Premji's final PK attempt for perennial powerhouse North Carolina in the 2011 NCAA Sweet 16.
The moment her hands snatched the ball, Reis ensured her team's berth to the Elite Eight for the first time since 1987.
It's arguably the shining moment of the highlight reel that was her tenure as a Knight".
